Having previously enjoyed a lengthy and successful career in financial services, I embarked on a new path in 2022, starting EV Travel at the ripe old age of 55!

So, yes, this is a new venture and I’m really happy to have the possibility to share this experience with you as a customer.  Whether you want to travel in silence, chat with your fellow passengers, or engage in discussion with me as your driver, I am only too pleased to have the opportunity to serve you.

Let me share a bit about me.

I was born in 1966, the middle son of three.  My dad was in the Army, so we travelled quite a bit.  I lived and went to school in Singapore, Malaysia, Germany, Cyprus and, of course, England.  Aged 11, I left my family in Germany and went to boarding school in the New Forest.  However, after my parents moved back to the UK I moved back home and went to school in Andover.

I’ve lived in Andover ever since, although my financial services career was largely spent working elsewhere; either commuting up to London or travelling around the UK visiting other businesses.

With the establishment of EV Travel, I am truly excited about the future and I hope to have you as a passenger in my car sometime soon.
